I had the pleasure of using Suzanne Morel Face and Body Care for my wedding make-up in Los Cabos, Mexico. I must admit I was a little nervous as my trial make-up session done in February did not go very well. On the morning of the wedding, 2 make-up artist, and a Senior MUA arrived 20 minutes prior to the scheduled time. They showed up ready to start. I showed them a natural look that I wanted for both my mother and I. I also showed them a messy updo that I envisioned for my hair. Both hair and makeup were beyond my expectation. I was pleasantly pleased and would recommend. 10/10!

I used Suzanne Morel for my wedding in April. I believe my makeup artist was Andrea. My girls and I were soooo impressed with our make-up artist!! She was great, met with me via zoom to review looks, styles, and tips to make sure she was clear on the look I wanted. We reviewed the looks before she began on my makeup and executed well. We are all women of color and were a little nervous about choosing someone local to the area instead of flying someone out but she did an exceptional job. Truly exceeded my expectations. The makeup lasted well throughout the day, as well.

My Dream Villa Micro Wedding
Jennifer from CDE helped me plan my “micro wedding” for 22 people this past August and it was a great experience. We decided to spend a majority of our budget on a fabulous villa, so my budget was smaller than what I had originally planned. Jennifer was able to work with me and accommodate my budget. She gave me options for all aspects of the wedding, and it was nice knowing that I could trust all the vendors she recommended. All the vendors ended up being great. The moment I became VERY thankful that I had hired her was about 2 weeks out, when all the stress really started to kick in with Covid, guests asking me questions, last minute travel issues, etc. I was SO relieved during this time that Jennifer had everything regarding the wedding under control, and there was nothing I needed to do. I literally had NO stress about the day of the wedding, and that was such a relief and worth every penny. One thing I didn’t realize was how hands on CDE, Jennifer and her team would be once we arrived in Cabo. Jennifer and Valeria met us at our hotel to go over things. Valeria also came to my hair and make up trial, which was SO helpful. Once I checked into the villa Jennifer was also there to collect wedding items. Our actual wedding went off without a hitch. There were 3 members of the CDE team (for a wedding with only 22 people). Valeria was also there all day with me and my bridesmaid as we got our hair and make up done to help us. I used CDE’s make up services & floral and decor services. The flowers completely exceeded my expectations, everyone was impressed.
If you’re planning a destination wedding in Cabo, I would highly recommend using CDE. Lastly, if you are debating between having a wedding at a resort or a private villa, I really recommend a private villa. Our event was so intimate and special, I think our guests will remember it forever. Thank you Jennifer, Valeria, and the whole team!

I was so happy with my wedding day makeup! We changed the eye makeup from the trial after I saw how she did one of my girlfriends and I am so glad we did! I had eyelash extensions for the wedding week since we were in Cabo for a week leading up to our wedding and even though I had lost a couple my makeup artist was able to make sure my eyes looked great. My goal for the wedding was to look like the most beautiful version of myself and the team completely executed! I loved it!
When we initially saw my husband’s step mom she immediately said “oh my gosh you all look stunning! I should have gotten my hair and makeup done too!” Really elevated all of us, we felt gorgeous!
