Los Cabos is a top destination wedding spot for brides all over the U.S., but one new trend we are loving right now is the popularity of our resort town among Canadian couples. Let’s face it, Canada winters are less-than-ideal for outdoor weddings, so we’re seeing more and more brides who are packing up and heading south for their big day!
One such bride we had the pleasure of meeting last Spring was Kristen. We first spoke to Kristen after the Barcelo Resort recommended us to her wedding planner, Jaime, from Travel and Events with Style in Canada. Jaime is a true destination wedding professional and a joy to work with, and Kristen and her fiancée Jordy definitely brought an exciting, fun group of friends and family to celebrate their marriage here in Cabo.
We styled Kristen’s hair in a sideswept voluminous down-do gathered at the nape of her neck that went perfectly with her fitted mermaid dress. Her make-up was on the natural side, with a slightly dramatic eye and a neutral lip. The ladies in her wedding party were styled in variations of relaxed loose curls that balanced their vivid, eye-catching dresses.
With bright fuchsia and lime green accent colors, this wedding and reception was an unforgettable party—both fun and incredibly chic at the same time.
Linens, Things and More handled the stylish reception set-up. It’s no surprise that with such a gorgeous couple and stunning photography by Sugar and Soul Photography, this wedding ended up as a feature in the pages of the Canadian wedding magazine, Wedluxe.
