Here’s what to expect, and a few tips to help you get the most out of it.
Every trial begins with a virtual consultation via Zoom months or weeks in advance. This is our time to connect with you, hear all about your event, your inspiration, your beauty goals, and any specific needs you might have. Whether you already have a Pinterest board full of ideas or you’re still figuring it out, this is your moment to share everything. We’ll ask the right questions and walk you through what’s possible based on your hair, skin, location, and more.
It’s also the perfect opportunity to get your questions answered—no pressure, just good vibes and expert advice!
To get the best results, we always recommend a boosting facial treatment about 2–3 weeks before the trial (and again before the wedding day). Glowing, hydrated skin creates the ideal base for makeup. The better your skin looks and feels, the less makeup you’ll need, and the longer it will last (especially in Cabo’s warm, beachy climate).
Also, make sure to drink plenty of water, lightly exfoliate your lips and skin the night before, and get a good night’s sleep. Self-care goes a long way here!
Once we’ve had our consultation and you’re ready to move forward, we’ll book a date for your in-person hair and makeup trial in Cabo. We come to your resort, Airbnb, or private villa. Our team brings everything: professional-grade products, tools, a styling chair, and lighting when needed so you don’t have to worry about a thing.
We want this experience to feel luxurious, calm, and fun. It’s like a glam session with your beauty BFFs.
When we arrive at your trial, we’ll start with a mini consultation to check in on any updates since our Zoom call. Maybe you’ve found a new photo you love, changed your mind about a hairstyle, or decided to go bolder with your look. No problem! This is your time to be 100% honest about what you love, what you don’t, and what you’re envisioning.
We’ll then begin the glam process, creating a look that enhances your natural beauty and makes you feel like the best version of yourself.
Once your look is complete, we’ll go over every detail together. If there’s anything you want to tweak, more volume in the hair, a different lip tone, or a softer lash, we’re here to make it happen. You’ll also receive guidance on skincare and prep leading up to your big day, and we’ll lock in your final wedding day look.
Some clients like to schedule their trial on a day they have dinner plans, a dress fitting, or a photo shoot so they can see how the look wears throughout the day. Totally up to you!
